RBI Calendar: Bank Holiday Declared in 2 States

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar states that on Monday, October 27, 2025, the day of the evening Arghya (offering) of Chhath Puja, banks in Kolkata, Patna, and Ranchi would be closed. On October 28, Patna and Ranchi have also announced a bank holiday. People in Bihar and Jharkhand would therefore need to put off doing any offline banking over these two days.
