There is good news for those traveling between Noida and Greater Noida, as the Centre has approved the extension of the Aqua Line Metro corridor. The new corridor is set to transform travel and also elevate the city’s infrastructure to new heights.
This new 11.56-kilometer-long extension will start from Sector 142 and end at Botanical Garden (Noida). Built at a cost of approximately Rs 2,254 crore, the new project is estimated to be completed within the next four years. On operationalization of this corridor, Noida and Greater Noida will have 61.62 kilometers of active Metro Rail Network.

The new route will connect the following eight stations: Botanical Garden, Noida Sector 44, Noida Office, Sector 97, Sector 105, Sector 108, Sector 93, and Panchsheel Boys Inter College.
Biggest highlight of the project
One of the biggest highlights of this project is connectivity. The new corridor will directly link the Delhi Metro network at Botanical Garden, making it much easier for the residents of Noida and Greater Noida to reach Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport and major railway stations in the national capital. This project is not only set to ease traffic congestion but also accelerate the region’s economic growth and sustainable development.
New corridor to connect key zones
This phase aims to seamlessly integrate key zones of Noida, including commercial hubs such as Advant Business Park, Skymark One Mall, Mall of Noida; major MNCs & IT Hubs such as Microsoft, Havells, Infosys, Cognizant, Adobe, Oracle; educational Institutes such as Amity University, Panchsheel Balak Inter College, Mahamaya Balika Inter College; Healthcare facilities such as Max Super Specialty Hospital and major tourist attractions, including Botanical Garden
