Dhurandhar 2 is shattering box office records. Released on March 19, the Ranveer Singh spy thriller crossed Rs 100 crore on its opening day and has been praised by fans as well as Bollywood and South film stars. Superstar Rajinikanth praised the movie, calling it a must watch for audiences.
Taking to his X account on March 23, Rajinikanth shared his glowing review of the film and lauded both the director and lead actor. He wrote, “What a film … #Dhurandhar2 !!! Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has performed exceptionally well at the box office, crossing Rs 476.05 crore net in India within just five days. It recorded the second biggest opening weekend for an Indian film, after Pushpa 2. The film has already gone past the lifetime worldwide collections of hits like Gadar 2 and Salaar. North America has also played a big role, with the film earning a strong $9.6 million over the weekend.

The story continues after the first film’s ending. Ranveer Singh plays undercover agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who goes by the name Hamza Ali Mazari. He enters a crime and terror network in Karachi to track down those behind major attacks on India, including 26/11.
Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and Danish Pandor. Danish Iqbal also appears in a key role as “Bade Saab,” a character inspired by Dawood Ibrahim.
