Indian Railways is taking several unprecedented steps to provide the best travel experience to its passengers across the country. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has introduced Namo Bharat trains for private events. Under this, passengers can celebrate special occasions like birthdays, pre-wedding shoots, and other private events. Under this new initiative, individuals, event planners, and businesses can hire a full coach of Namo Bharat.
Coach Bookings Cost and Timings
Bookings for Namo Bharat coaches start at Rs 5,000 per hour and include an additional 30 minutes for setting up and removing decorations or equipment. Celebrations will only be permitted between 6 am and 11 pm and must be conducted in a manner that does not disrupt regular train operations.
Which Places Are Included?
By establishing stations at key locations like Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, and Meerut South, this initiative aims to attract residents of the Delhi–Meerut corridor. The bookings will give people a unique experience and a unique environment to celebrate special occasions and create memorable experiences.
Organizers have complete freedom to decorate the coaches or station areas. However, minimal decorations are permitted, and any decoration that could damage the train interior or disrupt passenger services is prohibited. NCRTC staff and security officers will be present throughout the event to ensure safety and smooth operations.
NCRTC has introduced a policy to lease Namo Bharat train stations and premises for film shoots, ads, and other visual projects at competitive short-term rates. With clean, well-lit, and spacious interiors, these modern stations offer a unique alternative to traditional venues while promoting creative expression and showcasing contemporary infrastructure.
