With the month of March right around the corner, automakers like Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Renault, Skoda, and Toyota are all set to introduce new vehicles across different segments and price brackets. Here are most of the vehicles that could possibly be launched this month.
Mercedes-Benz V-Class
With the demand for multi-purpose vehicles rising among the affluent classes, Mercedes-Benz is planning to bring a new iteration of its V-Class. The V-Class was available in India before as well but was withdrawn in 2022. While the international variant is offered with multiple seating layouts that vary between eight and even more configurations, the seating and wheelbase combination yet confirmed for India has not been revealed.
New Renault Duster
The official prices of the Duster are yet to be announced on March 17, ahead of the handover to consumers in the same month. The car features a sharp design philosophy, and most of the design cues showcased on the car are specific to the Indian model. Powertrain options include a 1.0L turbo petrol engine, a 1.3L turbo petrol engine, and a 1.8 hybrid petrol engine.
Audi SQ8
The Audi SQ8 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine shared with that of the RS Q8 but tuned to produce 507 hp and 770 Nm of torque. The SQ8 will be a right mix of SUV stance and aggressive performance. The SQ8 is claimed to be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella
The Urban Cruiser Ebella is underpinned by the same Heartect-e platform as the e Vitara. It will utilize a 49 kWh and a 61 kWh battery pack, and the real-world range varies between charges at around 500 km. Compared to the e Vitara, the car boasts an instrument console, a large touchscreen unit, Level 2 ADAS, and more.
Nissan Tekton
After the recent launch of the Gravite, which is based on the same platform as that of the Triber, Nissan will soon be unveiling the all-new Duster-based Nissan Tekton from next month. The car will likely use a hybrid/petrol engine, and its design is heavily influenced by the global Patrol.
