Mercedes-Benz V-Class extra LWB brings ‘Private suite on wheels’ experience to India’s luxury MPV segment

Witnessing the rising demand for high-end luxury MPVs, Mercedes-Benz has recently launched the all-new Mercedes-Benz V-Class. The new entrant is a seamless amalgamation of unparalleled space, luxurious comfort, and a new-age design that reflects the quintessential styling lines of a Mercedes product.

The new V-Class will be available in an all-new extra-long wheelbase configuration as standard. The vehicle has been designed to offer luxury-seeking customers a private suite on wheels. The sophisticated six-seat layout features first-class individual seats in the second row, equipped with three-stage ventilation, massage functions, calf support, and deployable cup holders.

The third row also offers ventilated seats, three-point seat belts, ISOFIX child-seat anchorage, and USB charging ports. Meanwhile, the front row features electrically adjustable and ventilated seats with cushion-length adjustment, along with a luxurious command centre.

Beyond these features, the presence of 64-colour ambient lighting and a Burmester surround sound system with Dolby Atmos enhances the in-cabin experience. The system includes 15 speakers delivering up to 640 W of output. The list continues with highlights such as THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control, heat-insulating glass with sunblinds, and the ENERGIZING Comfort programme, which offers up to ten harmoniously tuned wellness modes, including nature soundscapes.

Electric sliding doors on both sides can be operated via the key, exterior door handle, driver’s seat, or a button on the door panel, while the electrically operable split tailgate allows convenient loading even in tight spaces.

Make in India

The new V-Class will soon be locally produced in India. The brand plans to initiate the local production process shortly and manufacture both the Mercedes-Maybach GLS and the V-Class in the country.
