He created history by winning his second Royal Rumble match, as he won the title in 2015. After a decade, he achieved another massive victory, making his fans proud. WWE has also given Reigns a considerable boost at the beginning of 2026.
The Men’s Royal Rumble match started with Oba Femi as the first entrant. Soon after, Braun Breaker entered the ring, but he was assaulted outside the ring and was immediately eliminated by Femi. Femi ruled the initial part of the match. Superstars entered the ring every two minutes, including AAA wrestling superstars. Big superstars such as Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns stunned the audience with their performances. Lesnar was eliminated by LA Knight and Cody Rhodes together, making the scene more dramatic.
The WWE WrestleMania 42 is set to take place in April 2026. As a result of winning the Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns has qualified for a World Championship match at WrestleMania 42. The question is, who will he face? As of now, CM Punk is the World Heavyweight Champion, and Drew McIntyre is the Undisputed Champion. McIntyre is engaged in a feud with Jacob Fatu and Cody Rhodes.
